I have always found the service at Mellow Motors to be excellent. I was a trifle surprised on my last visit, however, that a new hubcap would cost about $250. Much of that was the price of the hubcap, but unless a great deal of work went into diagnosing the problem, it seemed to me that $103 for labor was too high.
Hi John, thank you for your comments. The labor cost was for diagnosing the problem, a rumbling noise heard in the vehicle. This turned out to be a broken hubcap. Quite often the diagnoses is more than the actual repair. We want to make sure the vehicle is fixed properly and sometimes it takes a bit more time to properly and thoroughly diagnose a problem.
