Weird problem. Rats chewed through wires and the car would not start. Simple repair was to replace the wires. The problem was they had to take much of the engine apart to reach the wires. Ouch. Quick diagnosis, quick repair and very good communication othe issue.

I hardly ever write reviews that are good but I brought my Mini Cooper to Mellow Motors because I heard they were specialists with these cars. After bringing "Pepper" in the first time and getting a mis- diagnosis, the owner Nick agreed to let me bring it in again for a re-diagnosis at no charge. Just let me tell you he took it upon himself to make this situation right by personally texting me for two straight days about anything and everything that they were doing to diagnose this very mysterious problem. This may sound dramatic but he went above and beyond what any mechanic has ever done for me in my entire life, seriously. He is honest, straight forward, tries to save you money, and just a cool guy in general. He gets it and he knows how to run a business and make his customers satisfied which is a practice that is hard to find these days. 5 stars all day.

Wow, what a great experience from start to finish. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient in walking me thru my maintenance needs...I felt like family. My car needed a lot of work (I was at a major mileage service interval) that was completed in a very timely manner and at considerably less cost than the dealership. The work was thorough with great attention to detail. I couldn't be more pleased as Mellow delivered honest, friendly service and superior results...I highly recommend them!!

This is not my first review of Mellow Motors. However, after another extremely satisfying experience, I feel it is my duty to share with others. I have an older Range Rover that needed the engine belts replaced. This is included in the Maintenance Schedule, but was also reported after a “visual” of the belts was taken by the mechanic. Also, I had a recent “check engine light”. The CEL did not seem to affect any obvious performance of the car, A diagnostic was done and the results thoroughly explained. I am an older woman who is not in touch with the newer diagnostic tools available, however, Andrew and Nick took the time to explain the situation in a way that I could. totally comprehend. The work was completed in a timely manner and I couldn’t be more satisfied.
