Mellow Motors is Marin’s premier independent service center for import and domestic vehicles.
The shop is a state of the art facility, equipped with the most up to date tools and equipment. Our technicians have years of experience coupled with the latest training and are able to solve the most difficult automotive problems, quickly and efficiently. Efficient, accurate and timely auto repair and service is our mantra. Serious service is our motto.
We have been voted Best of Marin by the Pacific Sun newspaper too many times to count. We have been certified by the Marin County Green Business Program as a Green Business. The shop is open times to 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We have a shuttle service and offer pre-booked rides to and from the shop. It's a short walk to bus stops, the Larkspur Ferry and several shopping areas.
Our goal is to keep that car of yours on the road as painlessly as possible. We are serious about that.

And experience we have, lots of it. The shop has been in business since 1972, still under family ownership and management. Our youngest technician has been working on cars for over 15 years, while our oldest has been doing it for over 45 years. We have a tech with over 10 years of BMW dealership experience (BMW Tech of the Year in 2002 and a BMW Master Tech) and one with over 8 years of Volvo dealership experience (ASE-Volvo Tech of the Year in 2008). Our service manager spent many years building cars for the race track. Even with this incredible knowledge base, we know better than to sit still. We continually expand that knowledge base with classes and seminars. We know how to fix cars, properly and efficiently. We have experience.
